Our new C02 laser was delivered at the end of May 2020. For two years Simon has been mastering the art of 3D Printing and this seemed like a natural progression.
We have got up to speed on the software we will use, and researched what materials will work and what won’t and planned some initial projects.
Suppliers have been sourced for the materials we want to cut or engrave.
Recycling provided us with lots of practice material. This helped us understand how speed and power will change results.
Initial samplers and prototypes we have worked on included slate house signs, etched vases, terracotta pots and saucers, glasses and bottles.
The C02 laser will feature heavily in our upcoming projects. Ideal for Christmas, Mother’s Day and Valentines Day gifts.
