Ducks – Cranford Farm
Ducks have moved into Cranford Farm. Rather randomly 25 ducks walk up the lane looking for their new forever home.
After wandering up a number of neighbours drives and causing quite a commotion with drivers trying to drive up the lane they settle on our front drive.
Simon being the softie he is suggested I let the ducks into the back garden and feed and water them.

At this point we have no idea if they are boys or girls we decide to open the side gate and usher them into the back garden.
They have spent some time living in the local ford before making their way up the lane so they are quite dirty and in need of a good feed.
At first there were 25. The next day a neighbour said another 23 where at the ford. He kindly herded them up to us.
Simon though the owners would come forward. Then we realised they had been dumped The ford did not provide any food sources for them to survive on and left them at risk from predators. So they decided they would move on and look for food.
It looks like the ducks may have moved into Cranford Farm for good.
